Hotel Overview
This superb resort was completed during November 2000, and we just had to
sign it up! Located along the same stretch
as
the ‘designer’ clothes shops in Calangute, it is easy to access
many places in different directions, including the beach. The hotel has a
spacious reception area offering many facilities plus a coffee shop. Above
the reception there is a health club, an airconditioned pub ‘6th Sense’,
and the Chinese restaurant ‘Nanking’.
The health club is run by John Crasto who is a superb masseur. He told us
that Margaret Thatcher had used his services! As well as a variety of
massage and body treatments, the health club offers a gym., steam room,
jacuzzi and beauty parlour, highly recommended. The swimming pool has a
children’s section and is served by a poolside bar and restaurant.
There is plenty of space to relax around the pool and this area becomes a
meeting point at night with regular entertainment and the air-conditioned ‘Steakhouse’
adjacent to the pool.
The air-conditioned rooms are twin or double bedded, (some can take an
extra bed), and all have an en-suite shower & WC, ceiling fan, T.V. and
a stocked mini-bar. The rooms have a direct dial telephone and the luxury of
two balconies or terraces. All are offered on a Bed and Continental
Breakfast basis; Christmas and New Year festive meals are included. With the
shops and bars of Calangute a short walking distance away and the beach a 15
minutes walk.
