I was always overwhelmed by the culture and traditions of Goa and invariably had the temptation of seeing the lively life of Goan people. In the month of December during my winter vacations my friends and me planed a tour for Goa, I was very thrilled by my trip and was praying that in any case the tour should not be cancelled. Finally the day came when we boarded a train for Goa.

I knew that the beaches of Goa are more advance in terms of facilities and are more popular globally in comparison to other beaches in India so my friends and me decided to visit the magnificent beaches of Goa. Next day our travel agent Thomas arranged a tourist cab for us and we started our cruiser through beautiful, lush green Goa. The famous Anjuna Beach was 18 km from Panaji where we were staying and it was located besides the popular Anjuna Village. The mesmerizing palms, dampish sands and picturesque splendor of the beach are zealous enough to hypnotize anybody in this world. I enjoyed some shopping from the famous flea market organized on the beach and bought many cheap and reasonable artifacts made of seashells and beads. My friends and me could not stop our-selves diving in the sea, as swimming is my weakness it was just out of the world experience to float on the divine waves drenched in the golden rays of the sun.

Thomas my travel agent told us that during night times exotic beach parties are held on the seashores that are full of entertainment and fun, such parties are held almost on every beach, especially in North Goa. Since it was a Christmas and New Year time the party was bustling with varied kind of people and welcomed me with fervor and bounding grandeur. As I entered the twilight zone of the beach magic, my feet started tapping on its own on the rhythms of the loud music. The dance floor and the loud music were something that my friends and me found really inspiring. While dancing on the floor I made many local friends who told me that such parties are held in other beaches also and I should not miss them. The exotic drink that was offered was just wonderful accompanied by tasty Goan cuisine.

At the end of the party still more excitement awaited us, the most captivating fireworks that lightened up the whole dark scenario. I had just a fabulous experience on the beach of Goa baptizing in the beauty of fantasy a time to be cherished forever.
